Did you predict a KO 6 Buster too?

rocky had a tough road to the title and 49 and 0 but he got rewarded better and earlier than holmes
Maybe so... but his remarks regarding Rocky were a little dense.... typical Holmes in other words!

Anyway, Holmes would always have problems with fighters of the ilk of Tyson, Frazier and Marciano. One of those three clobbered him pretty good if you've forgotten.. although I'll admit Holmes was well past it in that fight.

Can I have some of what you're smoking?

"Tyson KO 6 Ali."

Ali had the best chin in heavyweight history.

You've obviously had more than your recommended daily dosage.

Tyson doesn't pressure as much as Frazier or for as long as Frazier. Ali could weather any early storm and come back with plenty of his own. Flurries in abundance, Tyson would get well and truly schooled.
By the 7th-8th round Ali would be toying with Tyson,
tormenting him, "Is that all you got rapist!" then an Ali shuffle followed by a right hand lead then "Did I break your back yet?"

Here is my top 10 based on achievement and what we know about them. I am not judging this on who i feel would of been top dog if they were all allowed to fight while they are in their primes.

1) ALI: not by much

2) Holmes: Most complete fighter. reigned for a long time. emerged during a strong era

3) Louis: Longest reigning and most complete fighter technically. Had the whole arsenal and tools. i pipped by holmes because of punch resistance and speed

4) Marciano: Undefeated. toughest ever. beat some strong HW's in ezzard charles and walcott

5) Frazier: had a good long reign. beat one great fighter in a ALI and some very good fighters in his reign.

6) Foreman: Never reigned long, but his power and achievements in destroying frazier and winning the title at 45 put him in to the top 6

7) Tyson: On his night, the most invincible of them all in my opinion. my favourite to beat every HW GREAT. GREATEST ATTACKING HW MAChINE ever. never achieved as much as HE SHOULd. but did enough over his short prime to warrant a place in the top 10

Sonny Liston: A very complete fighter who never reigned long, but beat some strong opposition on his way to the title

9) Holyfield: Not a legit HW but you could argue the same for rocky marciano. Acquired this standing in his defeats to bowe. the first fight recovery was greater than great and he should of stopped big daddy in the third fight with one punch if not for the hepatitis draining his strength

His standing was also helped by winning the title 3 times and beating a still good and dangerous mike tyson in 1996

10) Dempsey: Legend is enough

I have to agree with the earlier statement, but disagree with latter. Tyson ALI would go to the wire NO doubt

Ali wasn't that good you're overrating him.
Slightly.

Can you count to three? Place those fighters offered in sequential order regarding your perception of their overall greatness. For example:

1. Ali
2. Marciano
3. Louis
