Fury has been cultivating this arrogant persona that I don't really believe. He seemingly has ben doing it to self-promote and add to the hype. This will make him the bad guy in most fights he has.
Then, in just two days a bona fide twat in Chisora comes along and cheats in his own fight and disrespects Fury's opponent. In the process totally outflanking Fury in the jackass stakes. If they do manage to get the fight on, then all Furys hard work will be for nothing as I will be cheering him on against Chisora, no question. |

With the relative weakness of the British heavyweight scene right now I don’t see why Mick Hennessy does not “gazump” Frank ****** and offer Danny Williams more money to put his British title on the line against Fury in his next fight. A lot of posters on here seem to think that DW is ripe to be taken by Del Boy and I don’t see why Fury cannot beat Chisora in his next fight myself so surely he is also ready to take out a faded DW? As long as the BBBofC would sanction Fury as a credible opponent to DW then why not? I know there is a danger of rushing Fury and for sure he has lots of flaws but I think he has the raw talent to be at least competitive in a fight with DW in his next fight. If ****** manoeuvres Chisora into the belt then he will defo avoid Fury until Chisora loses then he will “bust him out” against Fury to make his last dime out of Chisora before discarding him like the rest.

If a prospect wins a title too early his management can lose some control over the quality of opponents he has to face, there are mandatories etc to fullfill. Just because a prospect could beat the champion doesn't mean that he wants to take on the luggage that goes with a belt at that stage of his career.

I’m not one of these fanatics who thinks that if a fighter does not look like Mr Universe they will lose but I do get annoyed at “fighters” showing up for a British title fight in the piss poor shape that McD did twice against DW. Personally I think they should have their purse revoked for showing up in that sort of state.

I'd like to see Fury fight Fat McDermott next for the English title.
Then fight the winner of Chisora vs Williams for the British. If that fight happens of course. |

If the money is right one liner is shit. He is a ****ing propsect. Money isn't an issue at this stage. It is an excuse. ****** can pay a decent wage. It is about Chisora stepping up. Apparently the Williams fight has now fallen through, I can't imagine it was because of Williams.

Chisora wouldn't want to fight Fury, he's ranked above him - doesn't need to fight him. There is no way that a fighter (especially a ****** fighter) would be put in a match like this.
Fury will stop the Finchley 24/7 clown if they ever fight. |
