Castillo UD 8-4 . No knockdowns.
Perhaps Castillo by TKO due to cuts.. Hatton is a bleeder and I imagine alot of inside trading. |

I'm worried about Ricky's suseptibility to cuts, that could force a stoppage in Castillo's favour...
But I'll do my patriotic duty, and back Hatton to get the win. Might as well back him to the hilt too, so Hatton by TKO! |

Hatton has impressed me in the past with his ability to change strategy mid fight, against Magee for instance when his 'jump in' style almost got him KO'd in both the first and second rounds. Problem is, Castillo is a world away from Magee. I say this fight won't go 9 rounds, and I picked the 7th as a wild guess as to when Hatton gets saved by the referee. Perfectly happy to eat crow later on if I'm wrong though

Castillo's last performance worries me a bit. I don't know if he can match Hatton's energy level.
I'll take Castillo anyway. I am not a Hatton hater, and do realize why he is the favorite. I think Castillo can bother him from the outside, and is the best infighter Hatton has ever faced. If he can deal with Hatton's high octane attack, he may be able to hit him enough for a stoppage. |

I originally pick hatton by UD, But since the weight-in when I saw them side by side I noticed Castillo's size advantage plus Castillo's Hungry(B-coz of IRS & lawsuits). Hatton's unimpressive previous fights also are the reasons I changed my pick. Castillo by 9th rd TKO or Corner stoppage.
