Hatton UD. Castillo needs room to punch effectively, Hatton most likely won't allow it. The guy wins ugly, but he wins.

Irregardless how . . . I'm rooting for a Castillo victory.
Who's gonna win? That's another story.

Castillo is the better boxer, you're right about that, but I think he's slipped a bit, and Hatton is catchin him at the right time. That tips the scales in Ricky's favor, imo. HOWEVER, if Castillo isn't as past it as I think, your prediction could be right. It won't be long til we find out........

Castillo surprises everyone by boxing and letting hatton run into punches like he did against Colazzo. Castillo is out boxing hatton and hatton isnt so quick to rush in anymore. Castillo turns it up, pressures Hatton.
I hate to make picks because sometimes I end up eating my words. LoL Hatton looks confused, tries to mix it up with Castillo. Castillo gets the better of the exchanges. Hatton comes back in rounds 6-10, in a war. Fight ends in a draw. |

Oh well...........not as I predicted.
Castillo looked shot..........hatton is a dirty fighter who makes his openings by holding and clenching. His tactics win him fights, however. You can't take anything away from that body shot. Hatton retires castillo in 3 rounds. Hatton VS Cotto.........or Hatton VS Mayweather. These would be interesting fights. |
