I know he's been put down but you gotta include Greeny on that list. I think Pieter Cronje deserves a spot after the Lepai fight.

Yeah Greens chin is good especially given the calibre of fighters he's faced.

Greeny does have a good beard..but for the most part it really hasnt been tested.

Most of the top guys he had faced werent noted puncher and in other fights he often dominates to such a degree his chin doesnt come into it.

It's not like I disagree with you but in Aussie ranking sense you have to give him credit for fighting higher level guys without ever really looking shaky.

The biggest puncher he was supposed to face, he ran away from.

When he actually has faced decent level opposition, none of them have been known punchers. Lucas was probably the biggest hitter out of them all, and he's probably middle of the road at best.

The fact that Danny hasn't been dropped against guys like Beyer, Lucas, and Mundine doesn't do much at all to say that he has a good chin. It's not terrible, or bad, but IMO, it shouldn't be ranked anywhere better than 'fair' from what we've all seen.

I've always thought that Paul Briggs would have at least taken a decision from Green if they fought because Greeny never had a fight with someone who aggressively targeted him, most of his top fights have been against counter-punchers or backfoot type fighters, even mundine fought mostly off the backfoot against a weight drained green.
When you spend your whole career being the chaser it makes it difficult being chased

I don't know if his chin specifically, but the all round toughness of big Col Wilson always amazes me.. I'd put him down from what I've seen. Can't wait for the Leapi v. Wilson fight.

Yeah i guess he hasn't been tested but Lucas, Beyer, Mundine, Stripes were all world title holders so it's not like he's facing domestic fighters like the majority of the original list are.

Green took some sledge hammers off Jason De lisle (spelling?) the same punches tha tJasom has put others on the deck including Clinton Woods, he also took some big rights from Mundine and didn't even buckle, which the same punches have knocked other guys out, i would have him in the top ten, Sakio is in there yet he was wobbled a few times in the contender even by Soliman if i remember correctly in the finals.

I think the best chin in this country belongs to John Wayne Parr.

I know he's back to KB now, but boy, I've never seen him so much as stunned from either feet, elbows of hands.

He gets my vote.
