For the Welterwight Title. Two of the most gifted boxers in boxing history. Did Griffith posses the speed, boxing ability & power to defeat Sugar Ray? Fifteen Rounds.

Sugar Ray Robinson of course, wins a unamimous decision, but it would be surprisingly difficult. The slow starting Griffith would have his moments, but Robinson would fir spectaculsr left hooks in flurries that would get the judges eye and he would put on a blazing finish to capture the decision.

If you make fantasy matchups with Ali, SRR, RJJ and Tyson, you know who the winner is yet. Although SRR is one of the greatest fighters ever, he was not unbeatable, Griffith, especially at 147 lbs was extremely strong pysically and knew all tricks, I would pick him winning at least 1 fight in a 3 fight trilogy...
