the shamrock express good but just seemed to be so passive when he got hit. benn would move his head and use his abilty to move shea just took it all on the jaw
but he kept in shape alot have you seen his pics of him at his lighterwieghts!!!!not an ouince of fat on him you were looking at muscle it wa horrible to look at |

He was fun to watch, but seemed to burn out when on the verge of making it into the mainstream. The Ward fight was fun, but with hindsight Neary should of fought a lesser level opponent.
It did not matter who Neary fought, he made it exciting. Rowland or Thaxton would of been more suitable opposition, then perhaps if he still had his '0', a Hatton fight in late 2000 or early 01? |

Neary was a tough SOB but never world class- World class guys don't get extended by Darryl Tyson and mashed by Ward..... Hatton would have beat him fairly easily. Loved his fight with Holligan though that was far more exciting then the Ward fight and easily his best win.
