Default What were peoples experiences in germany?

I had a good weekend, musrt say in enjoyed Dusseldorf more than the fight night.

The atmosphere was non existent up until the final fight. the main event itself was boring to watch. The half hour of comedy, music etc was absolute dire to sit through. the undercard was average but some watchable fights nonetheless.

Shame Haye never made the fight, think it would have been electric, as it stands the only time i was amazed was by the ring entrances!!!

great weekend but shit fights.i was happy to see andy lee live again even though his performance was dire.wlads entrance was amazing but its a bad sign when the entrance is the highlight of the card.thought the german people were proper wankers but it was still a top weekend and i met a few of the fighters

From what I saw from the US coverage they had fireworks going off, and Monks in the tunnel with bowls of fire alligned infront of each Monk as their hero God Wladimir walked into the arena.

What is it with the Klits ring walks?? You can put a dress and lipstick on a turd, but its still just a turd...the robot should be trying for fireworks in, not outside the ring

The entrance was spectacular.

He had mini fires in the walk way to the arena, monks in the halls, steel workers lining the entrance, about 10 fireballs going off and fireworks indoors.

Shame that was the highlight though. Chaguev was poor, wlad knew how to win and did the job. wouldnt pay to watch Wlad fight unless its against a brit

I was surrounded by germans, they dont go to sporting events for the atmosphere. They just sit and clap every now and again

I had a great weekend in Dusseldorf. Met a lot of good Brits and got on well with the locals. The pubs and clubs were good to. Meting the Hit Man yesterday rounded off a very memorable weekend.
