It can't be Dimitrenko and I doubt it will be one of the three with less than four fights. So Lazebnik or Rudenko...unknown quantities? Would it not be more sensible to pick someone with a bit more history so that specific areas of Fury's game can be targetted for improvement?
It must be Lazebnik, Rudenko fights this weekend.

Tyson Fury will get sparked as soon as he steps up to anywhere near British level. Nice improvement with speed and combos to head and body in his last fight but zero lateral movement after he unloads. Worse yet he STILL backs off from shots with that big 'ol chin hanging in the air like an amateur. Basics man. That chin is never tucked into his neck when in range and I'll bet a pound to a pinch of shit that he has no punch resistance when tagged. Stereotypical lumbering glass jawed wannabe. Sorry but I see David Price as the one to watch.

Me too...I suspect that somewhere along the line Mr P will be the victim of a highlight reel KO, and I don't want to miss it

Are you for real David Price. That guys is heavily skilled but punch resistance is week. He needs a mannu steward to teach him how to use the jab and keep his chin out the way aka wlad, lennox.

Fury still has time for improvement which he will. THe kid has the hunger and desire. He's already flown to america to get additional sparring

Although that's a bit harsh I do agree. I still remember on Price's debut when he was wobbled- a bit disconcerting considering that it was by no means a bomb that he was hit with. I think out of the pair of them, Fury will go furthest. How far? IMO, he'll waltz his way all the way to the European stage but from there I'm not too sure. I'll keep watching him, though, because the bloke is incredibly entertaining to watch and, for me, that's all that matters.

I don't think McDermott will vacate either - he ought to see this as a golden opportunity to get another crack at the British title.

Earn some money.... to buy a few Mars bars.

As an aside, I met John Fury at a wedding once and have to say that although he seems like a nice bloke he totally exudes menace...one of the scariest men that I have been in the presence of.
