napoles was the far more skilled/talented guy.

but he cut easily.

so if zivic can get his laces on napoles brows, he might just walk away a cut stoppage winner like billy backus did.
or use his head or elbows and what not.

but the smart money has napoles by UD.

Napoles by dec ,but the possibility of a tko for Fritzie is allways there, via his rapier like left laces or his noodle.

Jose Napole ranks higher on the list of all time great welters and for that matter great fighters pound for pound, but styles make fights, and this one may not have worked so well for Mantequilla. Zivic was one of those guys no one is going to include in their elite lists, but who could, on a given night, be too much for any one of the elites, like a bad squall being to much for a fine racing boat (if I may use that for an analogy). I think Zivic busts up Jose with his almost artistic application of dirty tactics, and Jose was known for occasionally getting cut (Billy Backus comes to mind). However, Zivic was much better a fighter than Billy Backus. It would depend also if Zivic could get away with his brand of tricks with a strict referee. In a foul filled fight, Zivic could just upset the applecart. Stranger things have happened. Of course, if he did upset Mantequilla, a rematch might prove a very different matter, with a fired up Napoles battering Zivic to gain revenge.
