Default Your three favourite fantasy fights?

Chris' thread about Greb-Schmeling got me thinking about that match and I can't ditch it. What a great fight that would be, really. I see Greb winning the early rounds before Max hurts him badly and starts to take over. Be great to see that fight.

What are the three fantasy fights you would most like to see, in the flesh, ringside seats? Why?, if you like.

Two picks for Tyson v Liston.

I sympathise, you've got to imagine nothing short of hysteria at ringside on fight night.

Dempsey v Holmes is a fascinating one.

You obviously love the technicians Rob - but why Hagler-Hopkins? I see that one as a bit of a borefest...something like Hagler-Monzon would still have the near perfect technical side but it's likely that Hagler will need to set of fireworks at some point to win it...best of both worlds maybe.

Well spotted. Yeah, I've always an admirer of technical fighters.

Hagler against Hopkins just fascinates me. Id probably pick Hopkins via close decision. Ignore the avatar, as you'd maybe be suspicious about the pick.

Hopkins and Hagler, I like them both.

This isn't three

Anyone can list "as many as they feel like".

That's how I see it.

Though it would need more than 15 rounds to seperate them so as anyone is happy.

Hopkins gets plenty of credit on here, especially head to head matches against Leonard, Duran, Hagler, and Hearns.

Leonard found Hearns' stamina and punch resistance was there for the taking going into the late rounds, and he got Hagler at the right time when 3-4 years past his prime.

Leonard would meet his match against Hopkins, and more. My reasons for picking Hopkins can be found on the thread "Hopkins v Leonard".
