It states in Boxing News, that undefeated Ian Timms could also be Furys opponent. It would be good if Hennessay could run a show here in Ireland with John ODonnell headlining and Fury fighting for the Irish title. Theres a market in Ireland, its tv backing for these shows is required.

I know being married to that woman(who I believe has now passed away) would have got him residency but I'm not sure if it is enough to have him fight for the title. As far as I was aware, potential citizenship(as in the fighter has the ability to acquire citizenship should they wish) was required.

You'd have to contact the BUI to be sure. Frankly it's a disgrace that they don't even have a website(although they do have an email address I believe should you want to contact them).
