Forgot about Huddlestone. Probably the cleanest striker of a football i've seen, the only thing that concerns me with him is mobility. But i'd take him ahead of Carrick.

That squad looks ok to me, still not sure on Carragher. I just think if you're looking at right back cover you might as well take Gary Neville. As much as i hate the cunt, he had a good end to the season and is a better defender than Johnson as well.

As for the keeper, i'd personally start with James, just because of experience although Hart's been the best keeper in the league this season.

He used to wind me up a LIverpool. He'd make a mistake, get away with it though sheer luck and then grin ruefully....ITS NOT FUNNY YOU CUNT!!!

Ah fuck, didn't realise Bent wasn't there. He has to make the 30 at the very least.

As a Newcastle fan it pains me to say but if Darren Bent doesn't make it into a 30 man provisional squad it's an absolute joke. Zamora's had a decent season to be fair to him but there's no way he should be anywhere near an International team IMO, let alone one with realistic hopes of winning a world cup.

Heskey's a shoe in, regardless of what everyone thinks of him. He played every game in qualifying and Rooney scored goals for fun playing alongside him and turned in his best performances in an England shirt.

I bet it was even less funny given the fact he would've been sporting clown-like hair back then!

Can see what you mean about Heskey but he can't even get into the Villa team and Rooney has shown that he doesn't need a lump alongside him.

Also, Defoe is in a very poor run of form, only got 4 goals from open play in the league since Christmas and to be honest I don't see what he does better than Bent apart from play for a London team.

I think its unfortunate for Bent that the one game he was given to try and make an impact was against arguably the best team in the world at almost full strength, in a kickabout in Dubai or wherever it was, without Gerrard, Lampard, Lennon, Cole, Terry and Ferdinand in the same team.

Against Brazil Bent got no supply whatsoever. He was left isolated up front. Can't blame him for that.

The best thing that can happen for labour to be honest is if Clegg does side up with the Tories. After whats happened Gordon will have to go to be replaced by a young man with no baggage...in the meantime the LD and Cons make all the difficult and unpopular decisions and eventually the alliance falls apart within 6-8 months. Without his best electoral asset (Brown) he is nothing and would be thre for the plucking

Johna, didn't Ranger get done at Southampton for stealing from team-mates? We could do without that sort in the dressing room, even Cattermole seems to have become less of a cunt.

He did get kicked out of Southampton, i heard he was stealing training gear to give to his gangster mates back where he grew up in London. Which i have to say amused me no end, the thought of some notorious gang striking fear throughout the neighbourhood in red jumpers with Friends Provident stamped across the front.

He does seem to be that kind of lad unfortunately, which is a shame cos he's a big big talent.

The Bristol player that fell over should get a ten match ban.

What a sad, pathetic cunt.
