Seriously though most of us Irish fans accept that Dunne is not a world champ in the strictest sense but he did beat a world class boxer who beat the current champ so that's good enough for us. Just one thing though if Mr Munroe won the same strap would you guys class him as a world champ? ![]() Back to Hatton, if this is true it is a bad move for him. I have never even heard of this WBA champ but it would be wiser to hold out for a fight with Khan than risk another loss to an unkown fighter. It's probably just bullshit though. |

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] The WBA have been at it for ages and it shows no signs of abating. I love the way that the WBO are getting in on the 'interim' act as well. This kind of shit only happens in boxing .

Forget Khan, he may well be off the radar after Saturday. Witter was too tricky for Hatton in his prime so I doubt things will change now that the off season lifestyle has caught up with Ricky. He was advised by the highest sources inc Lennox and Benn to curb his eating and drinking but he continually stated he was just chilling out and it wouldn't affect him. It does and it did.

hatton should get the old business with witter over and done with, he owes the fans one last treat in the uk, its a money maker plus i think witter would be a safe option aswell. forget about khan or this no namer from ukraine, either fight witter or retire!

If he's serious about returning. Ricky should fight at 140 and try unify the division. Fighting some unkown Ukraine for a alphabet belt, tells me Hattons motives are to be questioned. 140 is his best weight class so i dont know why he would move up to 147 again.
