Greb wins. He fought half blind. He never trained just fought all the time. He is said to have fought Mickey Walker in the streets after they were finished with their historic boxing match.

Ketchel, while lacking traditional boxing skills, was probably one of the toughest mother fuckers to ever fight. That's what made him great, his toughness and ferocity, not to mention punching power.

Harry Greb, although there are many others worthy of mention and of taking this title....Hagler for instance.

Hagler. The man was a tank. Never stopped. Never quit. Never knocked off his feet. He was hit right on the button by two of the biggest punchers in middleweight history and didn't go anywhere.
It's fitting that the greatest middleweight fighter ever was also the toughest son of a bitch ever. |

I would say either Walker or Greb.
If you asked either of them to fight a prime Mike Tyson they would probably agree to do it. I will also mention Barbados Joe Walcott (not a midleweight). He wanted to fight Jeffries, Sharkey and Hart. |
