Default Re: Krasniqi vs. Dimitenko II (for the local never-has-been title)

The fight has not been announced officially - see Universum homepage. Maybe they are checking alternatives. My favorites:

Minto vs. Krasniqi II -> Minto has improved a lot and wants to revenge his loss; after the planned fight w/ Holmes next week he could focus on Krasniqi

Dimitrenko (WBO #5) vs. Basile (WBO # 13, WBO Latino champ) -> Just 4 fun - let's see whether Dimitrenko can KO Basile in round 1 again?

Your suggestions for better opponents for both men?

Krasiniqui needs to figth Brewster. Their first fight was hard fought, they are both at a crossroads, a win on either side is a win against a name guy, and a loss is s good sign on either side to retire. It is a big payday for both.

Dimentrenko's ideal match is with, ironically, Brian Minto. Minto is powerful and on a role, and yet beatable. Again, it would be a great and winnable acid test. And I believe, if I am not mistaken, that Minto has some name recognition in Europe due to the Shultz fight?

Well, for me Brewster seems to be hungry. IMHO he has a chance to get a world title fight in late 2010. So he has to fight ranked fighters.

Dimitrenko - Minto? Why not? Minto then will beat the man who defeated him. Did you know - Minto is trained by Freddie Roach now!?
