From what Ive seen on film of Corbett which isnt much I might add.Ill go with Chuvalo here.

I don't see Chuvalo winning a ten or fifteen round fight with Corbett. I have just finished watching Corbett spar with Tunney in 1925 and I really think his boxing skill is underrated. He would be too fast for Chuvalo, I think.

Friggin' Corbett was really a Light-Heavy.................. Corbett was skilled and fast, but also small and not much of a puncher...................... Chuvalo chases Corby right outta the ring.............. Chuvalo is too tuff and strong for Corby....... Peace.....

If Corbett could go a total of 33 rounds with Jeffries ,while weighing 188 to 218lb,and 190 to 220lbs ,and while past his best, I see no reason why he can't decision Chuvalo.
Chuvalo was not anywhere near Jeffries class, and was outpointed by guys like Eduardo Corletti.

Chuvalo tended to fall short when he stepped up in class so I suspect that Corbett would have been able to outpoint him over 15 rounds despite ambiguities surrounding his style.

Ironicaly Chuvalo might have posed a greater threat to Corbett in the finish fight. Corbett would need a knockout to win and he would have to expend more energy than Chuvalo to keep avay from him. If Chuvalo's stamina proved up to snuff then things could get interesting past round 20.

Corbett UD. Corbett is underrated here because of the lack of film but he had very good skills. I heard that he sparred Gene Tunney at almost 60 years old and more than held his own. Tunney said after that he was very suprised to see how good Corbett was even in his old age. Mind you this when Tunney was in his prime. He outpoints him.

I think the Chuvalo who fought Ali the first time could've probably gone 100 rounds if needed to. In a fight to the finish I'd pick Chuvalo to win by KO/TKO despite Corbett himself having more experience in long distance fights.

Corbetts best weight seems to have been around the mid 180s so I wouldn't say that he was a light heavyweight.

I would add that although he was not a banger his power gets sold short a bit.
