For spectacle, drama, signifigance and action that totally backed up the hype,it would be Ali-Frazier 1. For sentiment,Ali-Foreman. So many others to choose from.

So many good picks here, but my fave has to be Haye-Valuev.

Really, it's too hard to say. For years i considered Barrera-Morales 1 number obe. I heard number three was as good, and i never watched it, then i did and couldn't believe people were putting it on the level of that first fight. Number two and number three were very good fights, number one is one of the greatest fights ever.

But i actually think i'm going to hsve to be honest and a bit generic in my answer, when it comes down to it, Duran-Leonard 1.

Some truly fantastic fights there but im surprised no-one mentioned the wilfredo gomez-lupe pintor scrap
Honourable mentions must go to,
Ali-Norton 3

I watched McAuley-Bassa recently as it happens. Quality. See how he Bassa boxes well at times, and explodes with speed. It just goes to show how Zapata dictated fights so well, because when he fought Bassa then Bassa was forced to be all aggression. Bottom line, when you fight Hilario Zapata you are the aggressor, wether you like it or not.

Limon--Chacon 4.

You won't even see a 4 fight series anymore, let alone with 2 tough hombres evenly matched. The nice thing with this one was that 1 guy was champ. And willing to sign to fight the other guy immediately. Somehow, the fight itself was better than the previous 3 and had a great ending as well. Both of those guys gave everything they had in it was a downhill journey career wise afterwards. How it even made it to the 15th is incredible when you look at all the punishment absorbed & there weren't many jabs landed in the fight.

I could name a lot of fights. So to keep it simple I will just say my all time favorite in person was Barrera/Morales I.

"Duran-Moore" of 1983 in New York................ Call me sick if you will, but I was foaming at the mouth when Moore was being beat to death by Duran in round 8............

MR.BILL

Note:

Seeing Duran hammer Moore at will was like bringing Dracula a fresh pint of blood on a platter......... You'll never know how stoked I was on June 16, 1983........
