I've nothing against Haye and hope he cleans up the HW division but there is a difference between how Oscar, Mosely etc have gone about i thinkggs.

No easy task when you're dealing with K2 I think....

Then he could have looked at taking on a top 10 guy. I think its pretty obvious he doesn't fancy too many fights at HW before he gets his title shot.

Why fight fat bums when you can become the heavyweight champion of the wrold right away? Luckily for him now, Valuev reckons he has his number.... I'm not so sure though.

So what's the difference between Haye and them? it's not like Haye was some middle of the road cruiserweight fighter was he? he was the undisputed cruiserweight champion of the world! it's not like the heavyweight division is some sacred division anymore is it? so why the double standards when people bitch about Haye fighting one of the title holders right away?
Arguabley not.

Its not been "right away" though, he waited for Wlad, the Wlad fight fell though so he waited for Vit, the Vit fight didn't happen so he's on to Valuev who he's due to fight nearly a year to the day from his last fight.

I don't blame him but its pretty clear whats going on and what the difference is inbetween the way Haye is doing it and the way that most of the guys in your OP went about it.

He didn't get the Klitschko's in the ring right away though, did he?

Fact is he's had 5 rounds in the past God knows how long.

Originally the plan was to fight two 'top 10' guys and then go for Wlad. He fought Barrett and then instead of fighting another contender he spent ****ing ages trying to get a Wlad fight.

After he fought Barrett in November last year he should have fought a Maskaev or Bidenko or someone even better than those two in February/March. This would have allowed Wlad to get rid of a mando (Povetkin) at around the same time. Then Haye could have started his t shirt stuff and fight promotion and got a Wlad fight for later this year.

This is of course not taking into account Setanta's financial situation

One thing for sure his last fight was on 11/15/08 and his next fight won't be until november of 2009, this boy better start fighting because he is becoming vary inactive, and if by chance his fight with valuev gets canceled would not be good for him...............

I think winning a set of belts at the weight below and looking pretty much awesome can qualify a fighter as championship worthy. His one meaningful fight at heavy against a decent opponent also showed he has definate talent at the weight and he has little need to beat a bum like Dimtrenkoshit or a fat old chubber like Toney or Ruiz. Hopefully he has a good fight against Valuev and once he wins the belt he can go onto more big fights.

i think he was the undisputed champion, there was no one out there to challenge him really and he had 3 of the 4 belts, calzaghe is always classed as undisputes smw champ so why is this different
