Default Any news on Boytsov's next opponent?

Fightnews says he will fight on October 10th but no opponent has been announced.

Does anyone have some inside info?

My hope it's John Ruiz or Kali Meehan

That'll definitely be the plan from Ruiz's team, Meehan's might match him against someone but no one too decent just in case this happens again:BORKED

Boystov vs Bhaktov would be war.

Or someone on a Bidenko level or higher.. hopefully no bums.

Yeah, hopefully no bums, although I think the higher possibility is for a journeyman.

Universum will probably try to match him up with ranked guys like Minto, Bahktov, Rossy, to try to get him higher in the rankings.

A good fight for Boystov would be Monte Barrett or Jamel McCline. Boystov is going to have to face bigger fighters with experience soon. These two would be a good learning experience, and winnable fights for the young Boystov.

Brewster, Thompson, Gomez would be great wars.. maybe Sosnowski..
But I think his fight on 10th oct will be off TV since there are two women fights on the card.. So i sadly expect that heŽll get some bum next..

Be better if he was in there with someone who can give him a run for his money, then we can really see what Boystov is made of. Thompson maybe?

Boystov knocks Barrett out early.

If I could nominate someone it would be Oliver McCall. McCall had a UD win last night and would more than likely take Boytsov the distance and still be a threat in the final rounds. He's old but he's a former champ and a name (recognised in the States) and not too long ago went 12 against Gomez. McCall would probably have no issues with fighting in Germany.

What do people think ?

McCall lol you nuts?

No way. That old man may be old and stuff, but he smokes crack and hitting him will trigger him and **** him off and Boystov could be in a war.

He should keep away from McCall as long as he doesn't have to..

He should fight somone like Maskaev or Dimitrenko... finish the has beens / never beens off the face of the division and claim their spot and progress from that.

McCall said he's sick of fighting "young guys", after losing to a bloated, not exactly young Juan Carlos Gomez.

I'd like to see Boytsov in some kind of test. If he's going to be a world class prospect (he looks more convincig than say Dimitrenko did), then he has to learn against half decent opponents, and he has to make big statements with impressive KO wins.
