Tony Thompson, TOS, Austin, Meehan, McCline would help him prepare very well for Wlad, but I think Sauerland is unconfortable with these matchups and don't want to risk losing the big payday.

If we get to watch him against Bahktov that would be good enough by now.

Yes Cliff "TwinTyson" Couser will fight Boytsov's in a 10 rounder in Boytsov's counrty. That's if Boytsov don't pull out of this fight.

It's still early in his career, but I can't wait to see him step it up.

Just checked, Boytsov is:
WBC #10
WBA #5
IBF #8
WBO #6

He pretty much can go any way he wants to land a title shot, I think his camp should plan his way very carefull right now and then decide on this opponent considering this plan.

IMO he should avoid the WBA course bc that's too much of a mess in there.

Minto, Basile, Bahktov, Quezada, Austin, TOS, Holmes, Oquendo, Leapai, Toney, Rahman, Maskaev, Brewster are all ranked in the top 15 and should make good opponents.

Kohl and his minions wanted to match Denis with decent Russian journeyman Bakhtov who surprisingly called off the fight-according to the news.
Bakhtov would have been a decent foe.............for one of Boytsov's stable mates.
Stupid matchmaking IMO.Boytsov is the last trump card Kohl holds in his hands, the sharpest and most promising knife in terms of future financial benefits in his armory.
Boytsov needs to make noise now.Match him with a well known American foe.Kohl probably doesnt want to spend some decent bucks on such an opponent, but fortune favours the bold= no risk,no gain.
Bakhtov would have fought for a much smaller fight purse, but he is hardly known over there in the states.
Austin,McCline,Meehan,..............these kind of fighters are a dime a dozen in the states. Most of those guys are even more harmless than Bakhtov, but better known with recognisable names.
Kohl desperatedly needs a new superstar at the big boys' league.Boytsov has the potential to be one.
A new coach who doesnt force him to fight as defensively as a cautious turtle and a knowledgeable matchmaker are needed among Kohl's fight promotion.

Hey Universum: Call Minto and give us fans an action packed fight live on TV. These women boxing fights are ok, the girls are no clowns, but a fight of two heavyweights is definitely on a higher level! Minto is ranked, has a name here in Germany, always comes to fight, and last not least guarantees action!

Boystov would destroy Minto within 3 rounds. Boystov - Bahktov would of been sweet but Odo is right, Kohl needs to put Boystov in there with much exposure
