Your source? There is no fight listed as scheduled on boxrec. No official statement from Universum yet.

Besides that, fighting a completely unknown, un-ranked fighter, with a so-so fight record and bad KO% makes no sense at this stage of Boytsovs career.

That would be a joke of a main event. Universum will find someone much better

Kampioni is right! Very poor matchmaking! Just a waste of money and time!
Boytsov needs a recognisable name in front of his fists and no limited journeyman who is totally unknown outside his American hamlet in the middle of nowwhere.
Universum Box Promotion signs up whoever has shined at the amateurs, but seldom do they know how to sell a promising fighter to a world wide audience or how to promote a talent properly so that he will be a big draw in as short a time as possible.
They should look for a new matchmaker in my humble opinion.

Boytsov is ready to move up. I sure hope they do not waste his career. He is ready for top 15, perhaps top 10. He has so very much potential.

I am disappointed with this opponent. I do not think this kind of opponent will develop somehow Boytsov.

Why were you holding out hope? Does Universum have a track record of hobbling good sub matches together on the fly?

Universum is noted for doing such shitty matches.

Look at Dimitrenko's record and you'll see what Boytsov is going to do in his next seven fights...

I guess they want to entrench him in German TV slowly, so he need an impressive record (or a remarkable belt) more than anything else.

Boystov will drop that clown like a bad habit..then hopefully he'll face worthy opposition.

never been stopped because he hasn't been in there with a fighter of Boytsov's caliber, just wait.
