Yep! Gavern's call to fame is a point victory over Cisse Salif.

Very poor choice for Boytsov at this stage of his career.

His stable mate Charr,a German based Arab,is scheduled to face Sherman Williams in his 13th pro fight.

Makes me think,really!

Boytsov deserves a better opponent.

Thanks for this information which changed my mind regarding Gavern. The guy must be good, if he is sparring with a top boxer like Adamek.

Boystov really needs to make a move up in class soon.

He should have no trouble with Gavern...then he should move up, Barrett is fighting Solis so he should start fighting once a month working his way up...Sam Peter, Oleg Maskaev,Toney,

There is a article posted that 2010 is Boystov's year for a heavyweight shot. I think he's gotta pick up the competition in opponents first

How can one be so stupid as to not look at the vidio of the opponent, like Garvin. Ex SWAT member...Job interview to become a cop again on Monday.

Garvin got knocked down in the first....was not too hurt.
In the corner, ask, he's only got the right, right?
Told yes.
Short left hook knocks him down in the start of the second.

From then out, the greatest clown act ever seen in boxing history.

I lost count of how many times he hit the canvas, but got up ready to go, and run and clown, and fight 20 -40 seconds a round.

when is a glass jaw not a glass jaw, Garvin, the yo yo.

Rated 99 in the world...too bad he couldn't box.
He got counted out while clowning, had he turned to the ref instead of clowing, he might have lasted the fight.

Nagy Aguilara would be a good fight for Boytsov. Aguilara is coming off a one round KO of Oleg Maskaev so he took a step up the ladder while Boytsov has been mentioned on HBO at least and has respectable wins over a couple of decent opponents like Bidenko. Also Arreola, Adamek may figure into the picture too. I have a feeling Haye may want to fight Boytsov in 2010 if things fall a certain way because he seems reluctant to fight the two big Ukrainian brothers.

lol i think you have a very very unrealistic opinion of the gayemaker. He's content fighting in his WBA sideshow with Valuev, Ruiz, & makybe someone like Malik Scott. No way will he voluntarily fight a massive puncher like Boytsov, he'll go out of his way to protect that glass jaw.

Boytsov's management are really taking him into the wrong direction.

He should be stepping up right now and instead he arguably goes lower than Gavern with Montiy.

What's up with this? How do they expect him to get up and train for these type of fights?

Boytsov should be stepping up right now. He is still young, but he must move up soon for his own good.
