A healthy MMA helps boxing. Competition is always good, it forces both sports to try their best to be as entertaining as possible. |

ufc isn't the same catagory as boxing - it's more like entertainment e.g. wrestling and dancing competitions.
ufc is novalty....typical fight, a couple of badly aimed playground punches then grab the crap out of eachother and try to break arms and strangle the other guy. boxing is dignified. |

There is a little more depth than badly aimed playground punces and trying to pull each other to the ground. You gotta know that, unless you are just completely against MMA to which I say your Point of view is biased and not worth debating. If you don't have anything against MMA then you just don't know what MMA is or what it takes to compete. I say the same to MMA fans who say you only need to know a few things to be good at Boxing. Both MMA and Boxing offer great things to its fans. We see great talented and skilled fighters who dedicate their lives to a very brutal sport for our entertainment. What they do in a ring, Cage or Octagon is pretty amazing if you take the time to appreciated what they do. |

UFC doesnt even compare to the great sport of boxing, they say how ufcs killing boxing but just this year Mayweather/Delahoya fight broke the record for ppv sales. Like somene said in a previous post ufc is comparable to wrestling, the only difference is the wwe is more fun to watch.
