And please name the "quality" opponents that Wlad has overcome? Because I'd rank Walcott and Charles, yes even those versions, over every opponent Wlad has ever beat in terms of quality. Sam "Who Nex" Peter? That Brewster? That Rahman? Haye? Mormeck? Give me a fucking break.
I struggle to see Wlad overcoming someone who has the heart and the balls to win. |

Peter, Brewster, Brock, Ibragimov... all handle those two with ease. Marciano is the King of Providence, Rhode Island Cruiserweights and the King of Advantageous Timing. He snuck into his little window of fame, one which would not have been rewarded him either before or afterward. |

Marciano was an outstanding boxer, but he's not beating Wladimir Klitschko .

Sorry but Charles was 33,Marciano 32 and Charles was coming off 2 electrifying KO's over Wallace and Satterfield and a great performance in fight 1 with Marciano, Walcott was 38 but a fit and capable and wily specimen, I agree both men were not the same for fight 2 with Rocky and who would want to make that 15 round climb again with a man that gets stronger with each round. Seamus I bowed out of this tread but I think you blew it with the line above Peter? Brock? Ibragamov? handle those 2 with ease Peter struggled with 38 year old James Toney who was fat and out of shape and 5'9 230lbs...Brock who did he beat with ease? Ibragimov?...I'm done |

Ezzard Charles was a faded lightheavy, plain and simple. Degenerating by the day, he would be in a wheelchair inside a decade. He would go 10-13 over the remainder of his career. Both great fighters in their day, and Charles was an ATG at light heavy some 7 or 8 years before. However, these versions of these fighters were simply husks... and yes, a Brock or an Ibragimov would handle them with ease. |
