he can come find me and I will tell him the exact same things I have said on here to his face. sometimes the truth needs to be said and hurts! I am loking pretty spot on at the moment as I don't see any fights for him and his last one didn't leave the world kncoking on his door in excitement.

What's the point? Garay deserved at least one of those decisions but always got the short end of the stick against Erdei, why will this fight be any different?

I hate to say it, but I think with writing his book and exorcising his childhood demons, I'm afraid Briggs may well have lost his killer instinct?

I hope not, I really do, as I would love to see him get that elusive world title, but I can't help but think that he was driven by what happened to him when he was a kid, and was so intense about his training and fighting due to it.

I think now that he's opened up about it all and confronted himself and come to terms with who he is, that he's finally mellowed out and perhaps he should retire, and concentrate on his family and the other work he was getting involved in (helping kids out, etc).

Part of Briggs' success was his vicious streak which parlayed into an incredible will to win and finishing ability. Now he's defeated his demons, he has mellowed a bit I guess which left him lacking the killer instinct? Just guessing here, only Briggs would know. I know one thing, don't write him off yet.

EDIT - OK already said by Muttley, lol
