Excellent points, except the "partly on" part in the beginning For the first time in history boxing has become a world sport. And now that US fighters aren't dominating most divisions - and barely competitive at HW - the fighters are "no good". The twisted "logic" many use here is and

Best current black HW is Peter. Few serious US HW threats of any ethnic background from the US.

Good point. They aren't really any great white prospects in the USA at the moment either.

As for the 'Eurotrash' in the heavy division, remind where the last genuine heavyweight champ was from, please?

To the guy who answered Audley Harrison, he is he disgrace of the heavyweight division and should have retired as soon as he woke up after the Michael Sprott fight.

Peter is going to rape Maskaev in this fight, his chin cant stand up to the awsome power of the nightmare they call Sam Peter.

For Peter and his fans - more like East Euro haters - I hope so. If Peter struggles to win, never mind loses, to a 38 yr old with a so-so chin... won't look good for SP. Oleg might be the easiest of the 4 for him to defeat.

So far his "awsome" power has produced wins over china chinned J Williams, Sykes, other bums, and lard ass, way past it JT. He should have been able to TKO JT last time. I, and others, thought he might.

Toney has one of the best chins in all of boxing, and rarely caught flush because of his amazing ability to roll with punches. Most people thought that Peter couldnt win by decision too, but he he did just that. What can Oleg do to beat Peter, he dont have the power of Wlad or the boxing ability or chin of Toney. If Peter would happen to lose, the heavywieght division is in more trouble than I thought.

box03 I just read one of your "HW no good now" posts in another thread. Don't know why I still read your posts - it's like an infinite do loop w/you & others about the HWs. If you'd quit your hatin' for the current HWs I think you have enough boxing knowledge to contribute something besides calling Wlad a "fag". If you hate the current HW scene so much, why spend so much time on it? There are other weight classses with great fights coming up - Calzaghe-Kessler, Hatton-Mayweather, uh I mean Fatton-Gayweather...

This is as good a time to say this as any. (half joking) When I first started reading ESB 3-4 years ago, I kept seeing various homo phrases used against fighters or other posters - Gayweather, Gay la Hoya, K bros, Lennox are gaaayyyyy, he he. I wondered if maybe this was a site for homo boxing fans Seriously, I've been to many forums - sports and o/w - over the years, and this site has more fag references than any I've seen. There must be a tremendous amount of pent up hate for homosexuals among boxing fans... or are many boxing fans in the closet?

Any adult knows that while some gay men are effeminate, many are very masculine too. Just like some lezbos are "butch" and some are very feminine/womanly. I'd like to know how many ESB "tough guys" would call Wlad or Lennox a faggot in a dark alley, especially if they were having a bad day? Yeah, right. Nobody, except someone very brave or foolish or well armed.

Im joking around mostly about Wlad being gay even though its wierd you never see him with a girl and that fact the pictures he took with his brother naked were extremely gay. I just hate the fact that people give this guy so much credit for beating class C opposition as a champ, when the best oppenent he has beat is a boxing banker who loves tap dancing. My question to you is why think Wlad is such an amazing champ?
