Size matters if you know how to use it. When Shaq used his Jab De La Hoya couldn't touch him. When he imposed his size on De La Hoya Shaq was easier to hit.
A thought over all Shaq gave a good acount of himself. Keep in mind that he is a very good athlete. I thought he looked pretty good in his sparing sesion wiith Olveir McCall as well. What impresed me more than anything else that while it was very clear that he was gased after 2 rounds he was able to keep fighting. It is easy to do anything when you are full of eneregy but when your are out of it. It is a difrent story. I'm not sugesting that Shaq should quit his day job and take up boxing but I was impressed none the less.
