Dull fight. Maybe fight isnīt the right word to describe it - more like a sparring session in which Guinn was practicing his guard and how to get away from opponents shots. Pulev wasnīt trying to finish the fight.
Guinn was a disappointment - if donīt try to win a fight why fight at all.

Agree with you,
Guinn came just to take the money, Pulev don't needs such opponents, cos they do not give noting for the development of the Bulgarian. Kubrat played smartly, initiated some attacks, but found no sense in throwing all out for a stoppage.

That guy blasted out Bergeron not too long ago and then put on such a no show performance. I thought heīd be a decent test for Pulev but he only came to add his name to Pulevs record after some public sparring session. Very disappointing. Pulev looked like hes quite open for counterpunching but since he took it easy it doesnt necessarily mean much. Hes still one of the better HW prospects in my book well if 30 year old goes through as a prospect..

Today heavyweights are at their peak in 30s so he is HW prospect. He is already 21 on boxrec ratings in only 9 fights and 1 year.

I was surprised that Guinn was so shy in his output. Every win adds something in my opinion. Guinn dismantled so easily Bergeron so it is like he suddenly lost his skills. Pulev just did not give him the chance to open up. He controlled the fight. Yet, I am worried about his weight because 112 kg is too high for him.

Its typical Guinn. He just forgets to throw punches.

According to a today's interview with Kubrat Pulev, his next opponent will be Oleg Platov. He confirms that the last time his people did not want a 10 rounder. He says he does not mind a 10 rounder now so it could be done. He thinks that his brother Tervel will sign with Sauerland sooner or later. He regrets that he did not turn pro earlier.

I simply do not believe that this fight will ever take place.

Sweet.

Would have been sweeter if it was Platov, which apprently got cancelled a fourth or fifth time (I've lost count).

Viidoz's best days are far behind him, but its still a cut above the last opponents of Povetikn, Dimintrenko, and Boystsov.

Vidoz is done and has being for a while. Not bad for a 10th fight though.

Platov-Pulev is jinxed

Anyone know what Pulev's handlers have planned for him in 2011? Hopefully a Euro title towards the end of the year.
