That's a bad call McGrain, definitely.

Helluva performance from Cotton.

I've never seen it, but I have the issue of Ring and there seems to have been madness about that fight. Ring see it for Torres though. How wide was your card?

Holmes should have been heavyweight champion again.

Hagler should have been middleweight champion in 1979.

I agree about the Wright thing.

Shannon "Goddamn" Briggs took the cake back in '97 with that gift over Foreman on HBO.................

NO! Axel Schulz was NOT robbed against Foreman in '95; Foreman really won by a single point / rd....... IMO!!

Actually, I understood the thread to be asking for two things:

1. Who was denied winning the lineal title on a bad decision.

2. Who became lineal champ because of a bad decision.

If that's the case, then both of your answers would be suitable.

I think I got it right on the second post...you meant ...who won a lineal title on a bad decision....right?

All kinds of bad decisions came to mind, where new champs were crowned, but none of them were lineal titles, like Lupe Pintor over Carlos Zarate, for example, because that was just for the WBC title, and Jorge Lujan had the WBA title.
