Default Great Physical Accomplishments

I'm trying to make a list of impressive fitness goals and would like some input.

what are some things that only really good athletes can do so far all i've got is as follows:

Run 1 mile in under 5 min. (never been able to break 5:10)
Do 100 Consecutive Pushups
Do 50 Consecutive Pullups
Human Flag
Run a Marathon
Be able to do 10 handstand Pushups (need more balance)
15 Fingertip pushups
Iron Cross
.......need some more suggestions

Iron cross - perhaps the ultimate b/w strength move.

Pinch pullups - grab a beam with a 'pinch' grip and perform pullups.

Bridge to stand

Front lever is a difficult hold

One arm press up on a gymnastic ring (raise feet to increase difficulty)

All of these movements are extremely difficult, as are the one's in the above posts, but all are achievable, and have progressions to suit every level.

those sound like good goals to have. just wondering, are they all complementary - ie. being able to do one helps you achieve the others? or would you try to achieve one doing a certain type of training, then move on to the next one doing a different type of training emphasising different muscles?

I've always been impressed by a clean backflip.

The kip ups like naseem hamed and the rock are good for show.

Those blackbelt Brazillian Jiu Jitsu stretches are pretty hardcore.

Oh and these.

IN saying that, we all know a mile under 5 is hard thing to do physically. 100 pushups isn't a big accomplishment IMO.

Agreed with the 100 push up thing, not too difficult. If your a wee guy then being able to slam dunk a basketball hoop has always impressed me. Im 6ft and cant dunk.

But then again i am not a basketballer.

Have heard shorter guys say it just takes constant practice and muscle development to do it.

50 Pull-ups, from experiance and knowledge of other people, based on how long that takes to get to 10 an then move on, 50 consecutive would be massive, your back would be very well muscled to do that.

200% bodyweight for 5, - Has anyone done a video of this ever would be bad-ass.

Infact thats my new goal in life lol

Here is a video of some of the stuff I used to do when I was training. Have not had access to a gym for some time thanks to my travelling job, but I left that behind and looking forward to getting back to this. At the time I was 130 pounds, now I am 134 but in significantly worse shape.

One armed pullups without cheating, the iron cross for a long period of time, and the ability to go from a one hand handstand to a planche are all pretty impressive physical abilities. The running I could never bet down below five minutes, and I never had a prayer of running a marathon - too much cramping. I was better at sprints.
