Default Bruised Ribs

Sorry if it's been done before, but any particular torso workouts anyone could recommend to help prevent these, other than the regular crunches etc? I do boxing and kickboxing for fun. I love the sparring, but I definitely can't take it to the body, and bruised ribs is becoming a bit of a regular thing. I appreciate any tips ! Thanks

Ab work outs and smash your guts with a medicine ball. Your body will get the point not to get bruised anymore.

Tip- Whatever you do, do not look up gut punching on youtube. or atleast be careful. its some *******ual pasttime.

Try to block or evade punches instead of taking them would be my advice. If you can't, move or roll with it.
