Col wasn't ashamed to say he'd gone in 'under-done a few times'. Good on him for shocking many and taking the title off Hoppa, and in a non-title bout!! Wonder how many times Oz titles have changed hands in non-title bouts in recent times?? - none come to mind readily?? |

He's training hard and has 2 fights before the end of the year one against Roel Mangan and the other tba on Greens undercard.
Craig Christian took responsibility for the loss to Broner - he mentioned some sort of fitness testing that Willie and Chris John did in the states that ruined their preparation. Sometimes its best to keep it oldschool. |

Willie, whilst talented, is far from world class in skllls or ability. Elomar damaged him in a big way, I shudder to think what Zappa would do. Again only my opinion. |

well maybe I am exagerating a bit, but he does have a lot of potential, as he was able to mix it well with a good and up comer. |

If Kickett is far from having world class skills, then Lenny is in the same boat. Zappa doesn't have more skills than Kickett. |

Mate that's cool. As I stated, was only my opinion, but I certainly stand by my statements. Why doesn't Craig C. talk to Billy H. and they make the bout happen in the new year for the IBO Lightweight title (vacant last time I looked?) Whilst Lenny is stepping on to a bigger stage in the US come December, it would be a great domestic match-up, whilst an excellent progression for either without being thrown to the wolves against some of the other champions/top prospects throughout the lightweight division. All food for the thought, but certainly a bout I would love to see, regardless of whether it's for a belt or not.

It would be great to see that fight. Oz boxing is crying out for better local match ups and a gauge to see how they are progressing. We'l just have to see how Zappa goes when he heads over there. Billy H is smart. He knows he has a young kid on his hands and knows the US market. The Kickett and Foley losses high light a pretty big gap that he's no doubt aware of. |
