was wondering if you would answer these questions seriously

1. when do you think calzaghe will need to retire? and when will he start to show signs of ageing in the ring?

2. is calzaghe as good or is he better as he was say 6 years ago?

3. what will kessler need to do strategy wise to beat joe?

4. who in history would have given joe his hardest fight?

COME ON!

It must be clear, even the CHJ, that Calzhage has no more than 30 years left in his career.

Actually, he's the last person on God's green earth you should be asking about Calzaghe. Why would you ask him about someone when you know you are going to be provided with a highly biased opinion?

Ask him about Barrera. You'll get some sense.

1. when do you think calzaghe will need to retire? and when will he start to show signs of ageing in the ring?- already has shown signs of aging and sloppiness-retirement will come after his first loss, maybe kessler .

2. is calzaghe as good or is he better as he was say 6 years ago?-skill and experience obviously better but he was a little faster 6 years ago

3. what will kessler need to do strategy wise to beat joe?-joe has a tendency to fall in when he leads with his left always exposing his chin to straight rights.
so kessler to throw loads of straight rights, also kessler must thrown more varirty/uppercuts would be a vbery good punch v the square on calzaghe

4. who in history would have given joe his hardest fight?-bernard hopkins i always beleived had the style to shut down the calzaghe offense.

1. As soon as possible in my opinion. If he can beat Kessler, take an easy fight against Hopkins, Taylor or Pavlik then retire. I thought I saw signs of aging against Manfredo even.

2. Calzaghe was a beast in his younger days, but also developed into a far superior boxer as he aged. 2006 was probably his overall peak. Calzaghe has possibly had two primes, a more skilled and a more physical one. Each would hammer different opponents more efficiently.

3. Aggressive lead right hands are all that will work. He can in all seriousness encourage the situations where Calzaghe lands awkward shots and is liable to damage his hand. I can't really see an upright boxer being able to do it though. He needs to hope Calzaghe's reflexes have faded, which isn't unlikely.

4. Recently Jones for obvious reasons.

And prime Hopkins (the one that beat Johnson, lost to Jones). The aggressive young Hopkins. The older Hopkins that some considered P4P number one has little chance though.

Any truley good boxer who has a rapid, aggressive lead right has a weapon that can work hence a chance.

I won't talk about the old era fighters, people know how I feel about most of them.
