What should his next move be?????
I'd like to see him fight on but if he's stopped by the likes of Valuev, he would,IMO,have to change his style dramatically which would more than likely spell the end for Adam Booth. |

I dont think there would be the need for him to retire or get rid of adam. They are great friends, buisness partners and a succesfull trainer / fighter combo.
I think Haye would have to look at his preparation and go about beating more fighters more often and earn a shot again at a later date. I really like Haye but noones sure whether he really is good enough to win at heavyweight yet. Time will tell |

I like Haye, but can honestly see him having a whole load of trouble again Valuev. Would love Haye to do a number on him, and even push for a KO. Just think is is a HUGE ask (no pun intended!)
If he looses (regardless of if and how is happend) he shouldn't retire - or get a new trainer. Him and Adam work well, and there are plenty of decent fights out there for him. |

Retire, that to me would mean he's not going to achieve at heavyweight what he did at cruiserweight and there is nothing else left there for him to achieve so whats the point? Besides money of course if he needs it.

If that does happen, he should stay at Heavy & keep plugging away.
He'd be a Heavyweight titleist at some point definitely I reckon. |

Fight on. I think he has the beating of some of the contenders out there so there is no reason that a single loss against Valuev would be the end of things. If he was stopped by Barrett when he moved up then the alarm bells would be ringing, but Valuev is no mug and of course is fucking huge. He'd give most people a tough fight at heavyweight.

Stupid thread.
So, a chinny formetr Cruiserweight champion takes on one of the biggest Boxers that has ever lived, who actually has fairly decent skills, outweighs him by shit loads and (seemingly) has an iron chin. yeah, I would say if he can't beat him he MUST be shit! I honestly think Valuev is a harder fight than Wlad. Mainly because Haye could probably throw the kitchen sink at him and barely make him blink. I DO think Haye is going to get stopped, similar to the Thompson fight. About 6 or 7 rounds in he'll be gone I reckon, and Valuev will jab him down. Booth, a smart man, will save Haye from any further punishment and he will live to fight another day. Afterwards? A fight with Chambers/Arreola/Povetkin/Johnson/Solis anyone to move him back up the rankings. |

but to get in the mix of some other unsccessful HW contenders in recent times, and surely some good match ups could emerge. haye v arreola haye v peters haye v adamek haye v rogan, sexton or audley??? He's been inactive for far too long, so lets see how he adjusts come 7th Nov? |

if he loses to valuev he should still try and put a few good wins together at heavyweight. he cuold make money making bouts if the right hype is there i.e. solis v haye.

I thought the Valuev challenge was a terrible decision, i know haye blew the Klit opportunity, well not him, the klits, and hmm setanta..but fighting that Giant bastard is quite a crap task especially if you had a long lay-off period!
Well if Holyfield can go 12 rounds, and in many eyes beating valuev, then Haye should do something special..atleast winning UD or please God, a knock out or stoppage.. |
