Default Stamina

What time do people here normally go running at in the morning? i went for a run last week myself around 11 in the morning then went to boxing training at about 6 and i have to say i was exhausted after doing both in the same day! i normally would do one or the other, but i think i should be working myself up to doing the both in a day, have others experienced this?
Also i find i need to eat a decent meal before doing any exercise else i feel very weak, but i feel this could be a problem for me with running in the morning before i go to college, eating something letting it diagest, then going for the run followed by refueling seem like it would take awhile..

BTW Righthooker if you read this im following your cardio routine find it very good

Glad to help.

I wake up at 6:45 and am out the door to run by 7:00 without eating anything. Then I have breakfast when I get back (around 7:40 depending on what kind of running I'm doing). I'll eat a protein shake, a big bowl of oatmeal, a banana, and plenty of water.

If you are just starting out, you may need to reduce either the frequency (number of times per week) or the intensity. Your body will take some time to adjust to all the extra work it's doing.

Also make sure you are eating enough throughout the day. You will be burning a lot more calories now that you've started doing this, and if you aren't getting enough food your body will have no energy. Food = fuel!

I run 3 mornings a week at 5.45am after a nightshift then get some sleep and go to gym around 5 pm. Exactly the opposite of guys who runbefore work then go to gym after work, but thats the joys of nightshift and my gym not being open at 5.30am.

fuck running in the morning. you fight at night so run at night. don't deprive yourself of sleep so you can run. get the proper rest and run at night. if you train and run on the same day then train first. be fresh for the BOXING training.

if you were a pro i'd tell you to have a good nights sleep, go to the gym at 12ish, come home, rest and eat well, then run at the time of your fight for the length of approximately a 12 to 15 round fight including and excluding breaks. so roughly 36 mins to 47 mins to 59 mins! sprints, ankle weights, blah blah blah.

i believe in the body clock, when the body shuts down etc

even if you are an amateur i'd run when you get home from school, work etc say 7 to 8ish.

i agree with you to an extent...you gotta be fresh for boxing so that you can learn new stuff when your training...HOWEVER...you need to learn how to preform when your nackered, cos you aint gonna be fresh when your actually fighting !!

mayeb for the first round but apart from that you aint gonna be fresh

variation is key for me

that can be replicated in sparring. spar harder and longer. change sparring partners so you face fresher guys while you are tired. however to be fatigued while you are supposed to be perfecting your game isn't smart.
