Roach: "Haye will crush, flatten Valuev"

Over on [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Freddie Roach is predicting a huge victory for David Haye.

He thinks his speed and power will be too much and that Haye will "crush" and "flatten" the giant en route to an emphatic victory.

I'm hoping for a Haye win but I thought he would have to settle for a points victory.

Thoughts on Freddie's bold prediction?

Freddie talks sense, this will be all over by the halfway mark and Hayes hand will be held aloft.

Im a big Haye fan and fully expect Haye to win in good fashion but beating Valuev does not a Klit Killer make.

I've always said I though Hayes style was a bad match up for Wlad but still Valuev is nowhere near the level of either Brother.

It would make a real statement if Haye could get the ko and it would put him in a much better negotiating position with the Klitschko's.

He said in Boxing Monthly recently that he's earning more than double for this fight than he was going to get against Wlad. A title unification between them would be huge for both, especially when you factor in the bad-blood between them.

Haye knows what he has to do to win. He has two 'blueprints'' layd out right in front him: Holy and Chagaev. Not that both won convincingly but they showed what ingredients to use. Haye should be able to emulate that.

look if haye dont stop valuev i'll leave ESB forever. if a fighter lands as many clean punches as haye is capable of landing on valuev (mr slow) it shuld turn into a massacre. like gatti vs floyd. n thats why the fight will be stopped either by corner RTD or cuts or soming

Haye is garbage if he cant beat Valuev. Valuev is cumbersome, ponderous & slow.

the first part i agree with but why does the two klitchkos have to be categoriezed as one?. vitali is much better than wlad and I think wlad is more likely to lose to haye.

Speed+power=KO or in this case TKO

I completely agree with him, Valuev won't be able to land anything significant on Haye. He's so slow and flat footed to bother Haye.

I was just categorising the 2 people Haye will need to beat to become the HW king, it just so happens that both are called Klitschko.
