For the hook to body-head combo, my thumb is up for the body shot, then I turn it over for the head shot. The reason I don't turn the thumb over for the body shot is because it feels akward on my shoulder joint (but more natural when throwing to the head). Does anybody else do this, or do most of you keep the thumb position the same when throwing that combination?

thumb should be up for the body shot. sort of turn it under then over. turning it over helps with realigning the body to come back with the shot upstairs.
you are doing it right as it is. |
