This video is from his comeback when was no longer at his peak.
He was only boxing becuse he needed the money. He lost it in the stock market crash of 1929. He probbly did not have as much money as he clamed to have. However he may not have been exgrating about the number of friends. Benny Leonard was a first class person as well as a great boxer. |
