Kosta was a great fighter but I wouldn't call him the best P4P of all time. I give that distinction to the old Roberto Duran when he was a lightweight.

You must have missed him going undefeated for a decade following that fight, beating some very good fighters, and unifying the division. |

I'm not sure ... but I think the Angelo Dundee comment was actually a statement he made after seeing Tszyu as an amateur. He said an amateur Tszyu was the best boxer he had ever seen.
I don't think the statement was regarding Tszyu's professional career. And Tszyu had a chance against anyone. He NEVER had problems with boxers or speed. If you let him set his feet you were in trouble. The guys that gave Tszyu hard fights like Lopez, Urkal, Phillips and Hatton all came forward and kept Tszyu backpedalling. Both losses were still competitive. Mayweather doesn't have that style. He would give Tszyu ever chance to pick and choose his shots which never ended well for the boxers Tszyu faced. It's a 50/50 fight but I lean towards Tszyu. I've seen all his fights and he was never outboxed. |

Kosta was never a hype job and hardly had a chance to be in the mega fight! That reflects on his achievements in a negative way. He shouldn't have lost to Phillips I guess.
Both DLH and Mosley skipped 140lb, these two fights would make Kosta an ATG. Kosta would definitely beat Mosley and would have a good chance at DLH. As of Mayweather fight all indicators point at Kosta's relatively easy win. He's always done well against cuties. |

Kostya was overrated he never beat anybody great and got knocked out by Vince Phillips. He never could fight anybody who pressured him(Phillips and Hatton). Aaron Pryor and Julio Cesar Chavez would kill him in there primes.

Based on resume I dont think you can make a case for Kostya over PBF. Head2head however maybe different. The 2 biggest names that Floyd beat were LW's, considering Kostya is a LWW it may seem less relevant when comparing head2head, I do believe Kostya would have crushed Corrales & Castillo much easier than Floyd did. Would have been a great fight and it probably would have been 60/40 in PBF favour at their primes at 140lb. Shame they never met.

He was a great fighter but losing to phillips an having nut job judah and mitchell as your big wins doesn't put you anywhere near the top 20 p4p fighters of all time tis is a joke.
