in no particular order
*jmm - i love marquez vast array of punches, awesome how he puts them together. *pac - who does'nt love to watch pac fight? *cotto - very exciting come forward fighter who throws nothing but hard hurting punches *hopkins - always appreciated this master technician. very good counter puncher, very good defense and the rough rule bending tactics gives anyone a hard fight. *vasquez - has been impressive since his fights with larios, i was sold on him during the 1st fight with rafael *wlad - best big man today, and at the moment is the hardest puncher in boxing bar none. *calzaghe - i became a fan after the lacy beatdown (cant believe ring magazine used to talk crap about him). kessler fans prepare to be dissapointed come november. *miranda - exciting right handed power puncher, takes on anyone and has never complained of money etc.. to the detriment of a fight getting made. very good potential, needs to learn how to fight exploiting his freakish reach, work on a stiffer jab, stop leading with (and tighten) his left hook and work on a little defense. hope he improves at smw *mayorga - i dont care if he's faded, the trash talking alone is entertaining. factor in the wild brawling style, and mayorga is one of the most entertaining things in boxing. *martin castillo - very good tactical super fly/bantam, is easily one of the top 2 fighters in that deep weight class (one of the most best and deepest in boxing imo, along with smw/mw and ww). a fight with mijares could be one of the best tactical fights made in boxing. fights agaisnt arce, munoz, darchinyan etc.. are also interesting |
