All this coming from a Mundine fan who wouldn't mind seeing him in the ring with Calzaghe or Kessler again. I was playin, clearly. Although Floyd still beatsdown Cotto. Sad I personally don't think we'll see it, cause Mosely is coming out victorious. |

Personally, i think that mosely has been badly under manage through his career. I mean when you think about it why have guys like DHL, vargas, trinadad and Mayweather enjoyed far more hype throughout there careers then Mosely, when vargas sucks and he's obviously he's just a tallented and accomplished as the other three? |

Mosely is a hard guy to market because he doesn't attract the same crowd as ODLH, isn't a cultural/racial dynamo like Cotto, and isn't undefeated.
Cotto has to be worth a little more, in that he is undefeated and is a draw to more than just his Puerto Rican fans. He seemingly has more to lose than Mosely. Even if Mosely loses, he could hang up the gloves and retire with absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.. If Cotto loses, he will be viewed as a guy who couldn't handle an aged fighter who was once dominant, that has style problems. Not that Shane has actual style problems, but the riddle to defeating Shane mosely has been answered by two stylistic matchups, just so happens those two stylistic matchups are two stylistic matchups that would be difficult for anybody.. A prime Forrest would destroy most fighters, a game Wright is extremely difficult to defeat. No shame in losing to either of those guys. As for the fight vs Forrest. I think it was a deffinate show of Shane's heart and contrast of styles. The first fight especially was a great upset. Shane is a respectable guy who is in part a draw because he isn't afraid of tough matchups and will go out of his way to take them. |
