Well have to wait and see. Wandy has had a decorated career and he has alot of mileage. I really dont think he has much left anymore other than his immense bravery and warrior spirit.

I say why not have Chuck and Silva fight anyways. Why deprive the public of a matchup so many people have been waiting for.

I say the UFC should be smart and NOT put Wanderlei in with Henderson. So you have the "supposedly" best Lt Heavy in the world be introduced to the UFC fans with 2 straight losses......or on the flip side, you have the "supposedly" relentless and viscious striker and axe murderer get introduced with a loss.

Alot of UFC fans don't know these guys and I don't know why the UFC doesn't give them a bit of a grace period to at least get 1 win to build up a following before a huge fight. I want to see Silva against someone like Bonner maybe just to see where he's at before I get all excited about a superfight with him in it.

I agree. The guy has be inactive for a long time. I think even the old hypothetical matchup between him and Liddel, had Liddel won would have been a steep challenge for him considering how much time he's had off.

One tune up and see how he does. I have a feeling he will do well. Looks like a beast as usual. I think a good setup fight ultimately would be a fight vs Rampage again. Giving Rampage a chance to avenge his losses.. If Page can pull off a victory against Silva, he will gain tons and tons of confidence.. On the other hand if Silva gets a victory over Rampage, it could give him a huge boost of confidence, prolonging his brutal career..

I frickin love Wandy .

the way chuck is now, he would be an introductory tune up for wanderlei.....even with back to back losses, chuck vs wanderlei should be entertaining at least.....liddell has fought em all, but i see him becoming an ortiz type 'benchmark' fighter now.....he is gonna be the guy the ufc match up and comers with to see if they are gonna make the grade...and with chucks power, these fights are always gonna have a question mark attached...so, bums on seats for the franchise and entertainment for the fans....personally, id like to see liddell involved in one more big superfight then win, lose or draw, retire...he has been great for the sport...but stick a fork in him, he's done...

Grace period?

Gonzaga was a grace period. Forrest Griffin was a grace period...
