Have you seen Griffith-Mims, S_S?

I know it's a rhetorical question but was it close too?
Had Griffith with a three point edge in that one. Emile pretty much had his way in the middle rounds, but Mims was spirited throughout as he always was...

I thought Nonito would win this one. A year or so ago I was certain Rigo' had the wrong style for Donaire. As I've said to you many times he cannot fight off the front foot. However, like many it seemed getting stunned by Marroquin made me think that at some point Nonito would time Rigo' when he was firing off and blast him.

Even when he did it Rigo' seemed alright and finished stronger (only a 10-9 round to Nonito IMO)

Brilliant performance. As a fan way before he turned pro' I'm overjoyed.

It was a quality performance making someone so quick miss so frequently.

I actually bet on rigo cos I thought the odds were too good considering his skill level, I saw it as near 50/50 and I got just over 2-1 so I whacked 60 on and got 170 back. Good times.

Donaire looked helpless at times he can't really cut the ring off, he can't throw whilst he's moving and he can't work openings.

I guess I'm a sucker for hype though, speaking of which, I don't think there's anyone in sbw history I'd favour over Rigo

I was shocked to shit at how good Rigo was. I was expecting this to be a left-hook goodnight victory from Donaire.

Rigo was on a different class, Donaire was just looking to get lucky on the left hook.
When he moves up in weight, his punches will harm 130's less. Donaire must stay away from Mikey Garcia although I rate Rigo over Garcia.

I had given round 2 and the knockdown round to Donaire - but round 2 is somewhat debatable.

I know Mares has the style to beat Rigo, but is Mares even THAT good to beat Rigo?
Just imagine a Rigo-Hamed bout lol This aint Bungu.

**** The Judges for calling it 114-113, 115-112 and even 116-111.

I picked Rigo on points for the prediction league. I wonder what Donaire weighed, he looked huge.

Rigo vs Morales = Rigo - with hesitation
How does Barrera fare with Rigo?

Donaire lost me 200 vCash :(

I'm wondering the same. Got stuff from USA and my own country that have yet to turn up, perplexing.

I'm most looking forward to Wolgast-Montana. But don't worry, as soon as I have it, you will.

Me too, and great that he's lived up to his promise after being a fan for such a long time, I admittedly looked into the Marroquin performance too much but Rigo' put it altogether last night. Incredible showing.

Seems a perfectly sized super bantam though. Mikey Garcia is what, a light welter or more on fight night? Hopefully Russell Jr can pick up some meaningful wins at 126, that'd be an interesting fight, or Mares can somehow get out of Showtime and get back to 122. Or Rigo' Vs winner of Mares-Ponce at 126 if Arum can get him over there.

Can anyone see a fighter from 118-122 who could beat Rigo, I can't. The likes of Mares and Santa Cruz would take an absolute shellacking trying to come forward and pressure him, and YamankaMoreno are a level bellow. Interesting clashes they would be though. Nonito isn't every beating Rigo either, irregardless of his preparation, that much is clear from last night.

Anyways, spectacular performance last night against a top class fighter. Timing, speed, footwork, reflexes, power and accuracy, everything was top notch. Rigo's chin is definitely a lot more solid than people give him credit for to.
