I think Calzaghe gets sold a bit short here but taking on Ezzard Charles would be the biggest mistake of his life.
Charles could outbox the best boxers his weight and outslug the best heavyweights. And I just accidentaly voted for Calzaghe. Dohhh!!! |

At lightheavyweight joe didnt look that great to me, got a lucky win over hopkins and beat an old roy jones, who was giveing joe a fight til geting cut. For me charles is the greatest lightheavyweight, so i think he beats joe down over a 15 round fight. Charles on points

Charles was the bigger man and made his mark and championship at Heavyweight. Charles was a big lightheavy as was Tunney when they fought there. It would be like saying who would win Calzage or Griffith at 168....I think Charles would win but Calzage was the best at 168

I like Calzaghe, but lets be clear about something- Charles is a candiate for being pfp the best- a middle who won the heavyeight championship, beat Archie Moore three times, and beat scores of ATG and HOL fighters.
I give Calzaghe all the props he deserves, but its not close. |

And this is a public poll, too. From now until the end of time, people will be able to see you voted for Calzaghe over Charles. |
