Though I was never very impressed by Andrew Golata, I still think that the version who thrashed Bowe would have beaten Sanders. Of course, looking at what Sanders was able to do to Wlad and a at a very late stage in his career, its not impossible that the opposite could have happened, but I don't think it likely. I think it would boil down to who outlasts who, and Corrie's stamina was terrible.

Golata was a better fighter, but considering that Sanders is a first round specialist and Golata is infamous for crumbling in round 1, I have to go with Sanders KO1.

I think Golota finds a way to blow it, like he did every big fight he ever had. At least Sanders won The Big One at least once. Besides, Golota has a history of coming apart against punchers, and Sanders certainly was that if nothing else.
Sanders by KO/TKO at some point. |

The Golota that fought Bowe knocks out Sanders in 3 or 4 rounds, but he was a fragile minded guy and I can see Sanders knocking out Golota too. No matter what thought this fight does not go past 4 rounds.

Sanders punched hard, and thats when Golota started looking for ways out of the fight, when he got hit hard. I dont Golota winning a boxing match, someone gets knocked out or quits and most likely Golota.

Golota was dusted early more than a few times.
While I'm impressed by his performances against Bowe, I think that most quality SHW's in general would have tremendous success against Riddick due to styles. Especially the Bowe that fought Golota in both fights. I like Sanders early, but I wouldn't bet money on it. |

sanders would brutalize him for the beginning of the fight and golota would eventually resort to his infamous dirty tactics by headbutting him or hitting him in the crotch.
