Calm down, Hans and Franz...I'm not the one who started going ad hominem just because someone expressed his unhappiness with the state of German boxing.

Regular boxing from Germany is one thing I miss most about Setanta.

Are ZDF definitely pulling out of boxing, though?
That`s new to me. I canīt find any clue, that they won`t broadcast boxing anymore.
The next box event on ZDF will be in Magdeburg January 9th with Stieglitz-Miranda and some chicken fights.

The lower level DSF(I think) channel is interesting,I like it,the one that showed Botha's recent fights.
As a German, I usually wear ear protection when Ploog is the commentator of boxfight.

DSF box events are the biggest shame for the box sport in Germany.
There you can see the badest fights and the most funky decisions.
For example Ragosina and at last "world champion" Botha.
This TV station now is on my ignore list. You really like that shit ?

I turn down Audio... You need to find ways to ignore him or your brain will start to bleed...

Ploog is a disgrace for the thinking boxing fan. He badly sucks Sturms balls and always tells the crowd that Pavlik is done and an alcoholic. In most of the fights he only sees the homeboys punches...

it's a bad thing that in germany there's mainly just one commentator. now and then experts like maske, krasniqi get to give their opinion, but other than that it's just monotonous gossip by incompotent nuthuggers. it's really lacking the diversity of american dialogue between people who actually know what they're talking. as for german standards guys like kellerman are people who know what's up, all antipathy aside.

on the other hand, it's mostly free..
