The great fighters are remembered for many seminal moments. Most never reach those heights. The fighters who are remembered for 1 great moment are usually contenders who have a moment of greatness, rather than the really great fighters (who have more than 1 great moment).

I'd say the classic example has to be Buster Douglas KOing Mike Tyson. That's pretty much the only memorable thing he ever did, but damn, was it memorable! I'm pretty sure every boxer who ever lived would have given their front teeth to have pulled off something like that.

Salvador Sanchez ko 8 Wilfredo Gomez. Fighting Harada beating the GREAT Eder Jofre. And of course, Marvelous Marvin Hagler KO 1 William "Caveman" Lee.
