Whatever happened to... Kevin Lear

Flicking thru boxrec, seeing who beat who, I ended up with this guy.

Stopped fighting in 2002 with a record of 14-0-0 and a stoppage of Michael Gomez under his belt.

What happended to the guy? And was he a serious prospect? He'd already won the WBU belt and he's still only 30.

Kevin was a very good fighter domestically. I remember when he bashed up Gomez real bad. It was only around his 10th or so fight and no one expected him to batter Gomez so badly but he did a real good job on him. Iinjuries got the better of his career.
