It's just my philosophy though, in my opinion a diet should go for maximum health first, any other goal is secondary. A diet that focusses on weight loss as fast as possible is an unhealthy crash diet, and I would never advocate that.
Again, it's my opinion and I'm not a world famous nutritionist, just one of the posters on this site. Take it for what it's worth.

I dont always practice it but i think what you are saying is dead on. I dont even like the word "diet" it shouldnt be a diet it should just be a way of life that we all eat what we were designed to eat and what our bodies need. IMO keep it whole,balanced,unprocessed and natural and i cant see how you can really go wrong
